A flower's roots need room to grow
So don't keep me waiting here
I need somewhere to go
I can't promise I'll always be near
I can't find me anywhere

I want to find somebody new
I want to find something to do
Out there, there is a great big sky
If I dance, I might just fly

A moon both waxes and wanes
So if I were to act obscene
I might appear to be insane
I'm not trying to be mean
I am not all what I seem

I want to spend all my time with you
I want to find something we could do
The whole world is like the endless sea
If I dance, what will become of me?

A leaf doesn't stop tumbling in the air
So I will walk the path of Fate
I will not bleed; I will not care
I will not organize my journey by date
I would only end up arriving too late

I want to stop arguing with you
I want to feel something new
The world's getting colder by and by
If I dance, will I be able to cry?

A dancer can walk among the stars
So allow me to walk straight and tall
I will not be held back by my scars

This is just a poem/song thingy I wrote a while back. I just found it, and I still like it. I'm not usually into writing stuff like this, because it usually doesn't really make sense and doesn't stay on topic very long, but I liked the chaotic feel of this one.

Tell me what you guys think of it.

I really like this. A lot of poems are either too direct or too vague and a lot of poems just don't interest me. But I really liked this.
